Digital Book World takes place September 10 – 12, in Nashville Tennessee. This long running conference brings together around 1000 publishing personnel — people from trade publishing, scholarly publishing, independent publishing, educational publishing, and corporations with an internal publishing function, along with all the tech companies that serve them.
The programe is curated to draw attention to current developments in the industry, presented by the people and companies doing interesting, provocative work in publishing and technology. Speakers this year include: Adam Hyde (Coko Foundation), Lisa Lucas (National Book Foundation ), and others presenting projects and developments underway at
Audible, Penguin Random House, Kickstarter, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the US Copyright Office, and Simon & Schuster among others.
